Xiaomi 14 Ultra : Display & Processor

The phone contains a large 1-inch sensor in addition to three other cameras that were developed in collaboration with Leica. It has an AMOLED screen measuring 6.73 inches and is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

The smartphone was eagerly awaited after the Xiaomi 14 series—which included the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro—was introduced in China on October 26, 2023. Following the launch, the 14 Ultra and the series’ international availability were the center of attention for everyone. Although the Xiaomi 14 Ultra was only recently unveiled for the Chinese market, it will be unveiled to the rest of the globe on Sunday at the Mobile globe Congress.

Let us examine the Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s features and cost in more details in the interim.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s unique feature is its quad camera arrangement on the back, which uses Leica lenses.

Its main component is a sizable 1-inch Sony LYT-900 sensor, which is matched with a variable aperture lens with an f/1.63 setting. Three additional 50 megapixel Summilux cameras are included with the primary 50 megapixel camera: a telephoto with 3.2x optical zoom, an ultrawide shooter with a broad 122-degree field of view, and a 120mm periscope module. Additionally, Xiaomi’s proprietary AISP neural chip, which combines four AI models, is integrated into the camera system to improve zoom and image processing capabilities.

Additionally, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has satellite connectivity for two-way communication, guaranteeing location sharing and SOS messages in far-off places. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 silicon processor and Xiaomi Surge T1 communication chip, which support these capabilities and offer faster cellular speeds and better Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, are what give the Xiaomi 14 Ultra its power. For optimum performance, the device also incorporates a twin vapour chamber cooling system.
